The Days Inn - Carmel Church set in rural Carmel County Virginia is only 5 miles from the popular Kings Dominion Amusement Park; open weekends April and May, September and October and open every day Memorial Day to Labor Day. The Friendly country atmosphere and friendly staff make us a great place to stay all year round. Our restaurant is open from 6 - 10:00 AM. Located near several restaurants including a buffet. Russell Stover Candy Outlet (1 mile). We have an outdoor playground and pool open in season. We are located 80 miles South of Washington, DC and midway between Historic Fredricksburg and Richmond VA. We are within minutes of Scotch- town home of Patrick Henry and close to Ft. Ap Hill where the international Boy Scout Jamboree is held every four years (next one in 2001).
