A sweeping transformation of the historic landmark PSFS Bank Building in downtown Philadelphia has resulted in the creation of the new Loews Philadelphia Hotel!

The visual theme of the building is "quality" and "timeless modernity". It does not attempt to re-create the setting of a certain period but gives an impression of warmth and comfort in public spaces and drama and excitement of a striking design. The international style of the building is accented with an art deco theme. It was constructed with granite, marble, stainless steel, and rare woods. Period details including Cartier Clocks, bank vault doors, polished travertine and granite surfaces are preserved.
