The rolling hills of central New York are the back-drop for the Best Western Marshall Manor, a 100% non-smoking hotel. Our location is only minutes from Cortland and Syracuse, a quiet retreat when you come to visit your students in either college town. Pick a season in central New York and you will find something for everyone. In the winter you are only moments away from a day or night of great skiing at Labrador, Greek Peak, Toggenburg and Song Mountains. For the snowmobiler, we are located right along the groomed Onondaga County trail system. We carry trail maps at our front desk for a nominal fee and have plenty of parking. In autumn, we are surrounded by local apple orchards where you can take a wagon ride and pick your own basket of fresh, ripe apples. The spring time brings wild flowers and the Annual Coors Light Balloon Festival in Jamesville. Don't forget the summer with the Great New York State Fair which begins in August. At the end of your day you will be pleasantly surprised while you dine at the neighboring Kettle Lakes Restaurant, fine dining with a menu that changes with the seasons. A sampling of selections from the menu has included veal tenderloin with warm lobster meat, caramelized Atlantic salmon as well as crisp duck confit.
