The Bishop’s Lodge, secluded in its own private valley in the colorful foothills of the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, is an exquisite hideaway ranked by Travel and Leisure as one of America’s recreational opportunities and contemporary Southwestern accommodations in a traditional ranch setting. Established in 1851 as a retreat for Jean Baptiste Lamy, the First Bishop of Santa Fe, the Bishop’s lodge has become New Mexico’s vacation playground. Landscaped with lush gardens, lawns and fruit trees, hiking, tennis courts, swimming pool and newly opened full service spa, a fitness center and nearby golfing and skiing. Designed in Spanish Colonial and Native American styles, accommodations include complete modern conveniences and stunning mountain and ranch views. As a Southwestern adventure gateway, the resort is near Santa Fe’s galleries, shops and museums, Taos, Bandelier National Monument and other historical sites.
A resort fee of $9 per person will be added to all rooms. (Children 13 years and younger will not be charged the resort fee).****EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1 2004THE RESORT FEE INCREASES TO $11 FOR ALLRESERVATIONS BOOKED FOR ARRIVAL APRIL 12004 AND BEYOND.****There is a $15 extra person charge,per person, for more than two occupants ages 4 and above.
