If you're planning a trip, vacation or just a weekend away you might try Clinton, Missouri, an All-American City winner in 2000. It is the home of some of the best hunting and fishing in the Midwest. It also boasts the largest square in Missouri. With over 150 stores there is enough shopping for days. At the Best Western Colonial Inn, we have truck and boat parking as well as a brand new swimming pool. For all your meeting, convention, reunion, reception, or exhibition, there is the Benson Convention and Exposition Center. It has seating for nearly 1,000 guests. Maybe you prefer boating, water skiing or jet skiing. We have access to Truman Lake, where there are several bass tournaments held each year. If you prefer, you can just relax on Sparrow Foot public access beach. Throughout the year there are many festivals and activities, including the Blue Grass Festival twice a year, Old Glory Days and many more. Please check with the Clinton Chamber of Commerce for more details on dates and times and other events. The southern head of the Katy Trail that crosses Missouri starts here in Clinton. It's a beautiful scene for both riders and joggers. If it's four wheeling you like we have dirt trails for ATV's, motorcycles, et cetera, that stretches for over a thousand acres. Overall Clinton is a beautiful community with some of the nicest people in the Midwest. The Best Western Clinton Motel is located in the midst of area attractions. All shopping centers and restaurants are nearby and within walking distance. We will make you feel right at home. With all the activities and shopping here you may never want to leave.
