The Hanalei Bay Resort is what guests have in mind when they think of a Pacific paradise. The resort sits on a spectacular site overlooking world-famous Hanalei Bay and romantic Bali Hai, the mythical site in the famous film and play South Pacific and the real choice of ancient Hawaiian royalty for their vacations.
Guest accommodation is in low-rise bungalow style units with names such as Plumeria, Guava, Bougainvillea, reflecting our lush beautifully landscaped tropical gardens. Whether guests desire deluxe hotel-style rooms, studio apartments with mini-kitchens, one bedroom suites with complete kitchens, they will find tropical fabrics, vibrant paintings and a relaxing atmosphere. Daily maid service is, of course, provided.
The resort offers two fresh water swimming pools, one with a sandy cove and waterfall. Tennis fans will appreciate the eight tennis courts and on-site tennis pro. A beautiful white sand beach is waiting at the foot of our walking and jogging path, although our shuttle service will be happy to drive. The Princeville Resort's Prince and Makai golf courses nearby feature some of the world's most beautiful golf holes. The open-air Bali Hai restaurants offers stunning views and is the ideal spot to enjoy a romantic sunset. The Happy Talk Lounge with its Wednesday Hawaiian music and Sunday jazz jams is a favorite for locals and celebrities alike.
