The Bahia Principe Tulum is designed by the prestigious architect, Fernando Quirarte, and inspired by the Puuc Mayan architectural period. This All Inclusive resort welcomes its guests with all of Mexican's characteristic warmth. Materials such as stone, talavera pottery, marble, large palapas, hardwoods and an exquisite color combination make the hotel a cool and harmonious place that is easy to discover and enjoy. The hotel offers spacious and comfortable rooms, with top quality finishes, marble and fine woods. They all have two single beds or one king size bed, air conditioning, telephone, cable TV, a balcony and fully fitted marble bathroom with a bathtub and shower. The complex is composed of 774 double rooms, which are distributed in three storied villas with 18 rooms each among coconut palms, at a maximum distance of 150 meters from the beach. The hotel features a large swimming pool in the form of a lake with a with a special children's area; a gaint, open air jacuzzi; an enormous sundeck with sun beds and sunshades; a private beach; Mini Club; amphitheatre that hosts shows and entertainment; two tennis courts; a water sports center; a gym; shops stocking essential goods and gifts; a vast natural setting; and a large convention center with top quality facilities. The Bahia Principe Tulum Hotel is all inclusive so all meals, snacks, national drinks and cocktails at all the restaurants and bars within the resort are included, along with taxes and gratuities, in the nightly rate.
