The Express by Holiday Inn Greenock is a 71 bed roomed modern purpose built hotel completed in May 2000. The hotel has an excellent location for both business and leisure. We are located 35km West of Glasgow city centre, home of the Burrell Collection, Scottish Exhibition & Conference Centre, and Glasgow Science Centre and with the second best shopping in the UK. Glasgow International Airport is located 27km East of the hotel. Braehead shopping centre with a river boat service to Glasgow city is 24km East of the hotel and on our doorstep is Greenock town centre with a good selection of shops, restaurants, bars, leisure facilities and cinema, home of the famous James Watt (civil engineer) and 5km to the West is located the Gourock Ferry Terminal, a gateway to the Argyll and the Isles. Loch Lomond Scotland's premier tourist attraction is approx. 32km North of the hotel. This is an area of spectacular scenery with Golf, Horse Riding and Cycling easily arranged. The area is rich in history; Newark Castle and the Finlaystone Estate are within a few minutes drive. The hotel offers a friendly welcome at our reception.
