Berns Hotel is a small and exclusive hotel with an elegant, distinguished decor, coupled with uncompromised personal service. The hotel is keeping up with the latest design trends and maintains a beautiful mixture of modern amenities and classic surroundings. With 65 hotel rooms Berns feature 24 hour room service, porter service, complimentary shoe shine as well as large restaurant, bar, lounge, cafe and private dining rooms. Hotel guests are offered free access to the fitness centre at the nearby sister property, the Grand Hotel.
Room categories vary from small single and double rooms to deluxe rooms as well as four suites. Deluxe parkview rooms on the top floor feature private balconies. The largest suite has its own sauna. All rooms contain a CD player and discs can be borrowed from the front desk. All rooms are also equipped with air cooling systems, trouser press, tea/coffee making facilities, ISDN computer sockets and TV with a premium selection of channels. Valet parking is of course available. The material used by the hotel's architect, Olle Rex, is mainly marble and cherry wood. The wood accentuates and softens the rooms creating a warm and very pleasing atmosphere. The marble adds to the feeling of elegance.
The Berns Hotel and the Grand Hotel are both owned by the Grand Hotel Holdings and operate with a joint reservation department.
