History and culture intertwine in this ancient 13th century Country Resort for Wellness and Cooking, which preserves the mystical allure of a sacred place, as it was first converted into a Convent for Clarisse nuns and then a monastery for Franciscan monks. One of the goals of the owners, Marinella and Dario, was to create a place that would be truly magical, a place that would instill a feeling of total well being derived from the complete absence of ties and limitations on the spirit. The Convento di Agghielli is open all year around.
