Hotel Villa Torretta is a prestigious aristocratic villa dating back to the XVI century. It belonged to one of the richest and most prestigious families in Milan. Restoration works allowed the building to restore its ancient magnificence both inside and outside. The frescos of the XVIII the century and the coats of arms of the great families that succeeded each other as owners (i.e. the Marino family, the Spinola family, the Visconti family, the Anguissola family and the Borromeo family) were placed back in their original rooms. Villa Torretta has 78 rooms, including 22 Suites, all of which are decorated in sober elegance whilst providing modern services. They have functional furniture that shows charm and comfort. Its six meeting rooms, the auditorium and a flawless service make it possible to organize congresses and meetings up to 280 people, banquets and gala dinners in a welcoming and elegant environment. On the piano nobile of the villa (the noble floor), you will find the restaurant "Il Vico della Torretta", facing the extraordinary cloister and sunk in the charm of its XVIII century-frescoes. It offers recipes belonging to the best regional gastronomic tradition. The courtyard cellar is a valuable cradle for our wines and is open for wine-tasting. Only a few kilometers separate Villa Torretta from the center of Milan, which can easily be reached via Viale Zara & Viale Sarca. The main motorway intersections are equal distant from it. A large parking lot is reserved for cars. The property is closed from 4 August - 24 August 2003.
