The Hotel Mariano, originally built in 1880 to accommodate the officers of the new born Italian Kingdom and later converted into a hotel, is located on the Esquilino, one of the seven famous hills of ancient Rome. The hotel offers 33 elegant rooms decorated with exclusive fabrics, comfortable bathrooms and modern amenities. The hall of the hotel preserves two columns and the original ceiling dated 1880. The floor of the dining room is a rare combination of stone and wood* a collection of pictures dated from 1880 to 1930 are shown on the walls.
