During the second half of the nineteenth century (1860-65) la Locanda belonged to the bishop's see of Como and was used for meditation by the Prelates of Como. Purchased by the Peroni family, they completely renovated it in 199, and while taking care to protect the antique structure of the building, they have added every modern comfort. There are eight bedrooms, all with private bathrooms, TV and telephone. There is a private carpark and a big garden with an astounding view. In the welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant one can taste the regional specialities and all the best wines. La Locanda is 15 minutes from the COMO NORD exit of the motorway and is only 60 minutes from Malpensa Airport.
