Where once the Ladies Convent Mill stood with it's own history, the Ringhotel Schlossmuehle opened in 1997. At the foot of the Castle hill with a full view of St. Servatius Cathedral, outside the medieval city walls, part of the halftimbered Mill Storeroom was transformed into hotel bedrooms, the existing vaulted cellar restored to use for functions. A modern wing was added with more bedrooms, reception, restaurant, bar and a sauna with whirlpool and solarium.
