The historic Hotel Schloss Fuschl sits on a beautiful peninsula in Lake Fuschl, facing the Alps and surrounded by 30 acres of greenery. It was built around 1450 as a hunting lodge and summer residence for the Archbishop of Salzburg. Prince Archbishop Paris Count Lodron - under whose reign Schloss Fuschl saw the greatest glory in its history - held a spectacular hunt here in June 1624.
In 1977 the property was transformed into a luxury hotel with elegant accommodations, modern amenities including extensive meeting and conference facilities, and a health and beauty spa. Since January 2001, the Hotel Schloss Fuschl has been managed by the ArabellaSheraton Hotel Management Group.
Special Condition
From November 4, 2003 through March 31, 2004, the Hotel Schloss Fuschl will be closed for the winter season. The ArabellaSheraton Hotel Jagdhof, just 700 meters from the hotel Schloss Fuschl will be open at this time.
